It lets users upload avatars, add a signature to messages, format their messages with bbcode and emoticons, and edit messages if need be. It also features a unique way of keeping track of unread messages that works more like email than the way most boards do it, which just keeps track of the time of the last visit. My way is great in case your browser crashes or you run out of time.

I'm currently working on a photo section which will allow users to upload pictures, organize them into albums, and let other users comment on them. Private messages are also really close to being done and I've been playing around a lot with ajax using the Prototype javascript library lately and will definitely incorporate that into the message creating process in the near future.

It's written in PHP with the Pear and Smarty libraries and uses a MySQL database for storage. Geoff Guenther is responsible for the design.

Because we like our privacy (and because those guys know of some of my more embarrassing moments), the site is closed to visitors and you have to sign up to use it. If you want, you can log in with the username 'Guest' and the password 'guest' just to get a taste of the feature set. As a guest all messages will be scrambled and you won't be able to post.

The goal for this site was to allow Adam to manage it completely by himself. I spent some time and set up an admin section which allows him add new content, edit old content, and also upload some samples of his music to the site.

The only thing I dislike about this site is it's use of javascript to replace scroll bars. I don't think it works as well but I was overruled on this decision.

This site was built using PHP and the Smarty template library, MySQL database, javascript, and some CSS sprinkled on top.

The priority for this site was the cost, it needed to be done as cheaply as possible. As a result, it's really really ugly.

It features a user authentication system which allows different levels of access to the site depending on the privileges set by the manager. It also displays basic business reports which can be sorted in different ways.

It was built using PHP and MySQL.
